Morning Bath ft Candy Mountain From Lush!

Well, its the final day of 2013 and i thought what better way to spend it than having a lush bath before getting ready for tonight's events. I Love lush not only because everything smells amazing but because all the ingredients used are natural, this means it doesn't irritate my very sensitive skin when i use them! Win win!

The product i used this morning is the limited edition candy mountain bubble bar, and it literally does smell like candy. Bubble bars are very different from bath bombs, this is because they create bubbles and don't just change the water in your bath like a bath bomb does. As i mentioned before i have very sensitive skin so finding bubble baths that don't irritate my skin is very hard to do, but then came along Lush's Bubble bars and now i can enjoy baths with loads of bubbles without my skin hating me for days after.

When i use bubble bars i usually get about two baths out of them. I simply break the bar in half and then crumble under running water and watch the bubbles form, i sometimes splash the water around to create more bubbles.

Believe me when i say this bath smelt amazing! The water didn't really change colour, it just had a pink tinge to it but the water felt so moisturizing. I cant remember how much this bath bar was as it's no longer on the website because the Christmas season is over, BUT ill leave images of two more permanent bubble bars that i LOVE also.

Creamy Candy - £2.50

The Comforter - £4.50

(Will do a review of these bubble bars when i next get them)

Thank you so much for having a read,
Lots of Love,

Naked Basics Palette!

When opening my Christmas presents a few days ago i was so happy when i unwrapped this beauty! I personally think that Urban Decay do the best eye shadows going so its quite shocking that i didn't already have this palette  in my collection, especially when i'm already so in love with the Naked 1 and Naked 2 Palette's. Although this palette only contains 6 shadow i know it will be extremely handy to have as they are all staple colours that all make-up fanatics must own in their collection.

The packaging of this product is an aspect that contributes to me loving it so much, it's so compact and smaller than iPhone which means it fits into any handbag, make up bag and perfect for traveling. The packaging of this product is plastic which has been coated with a rose gold paint, this makes it extremely easy for it to be cleaned and also reduces damage to the shadow if it is knocked about in your hand bag. Plus there is also a big mirror.

Now moving onto the shadows themselves.

Now, the reason i am such a fan of this product is because the colours in the palette are the most common colours needed when creating a smokey eye look. The 3 lighter shades are perfect for highlighting the brow bone or being an all over eye lid colour. The 3 darker shades are the most used and best colours to use in the crease, this is due to them being exstremely creamy, blendable, matte and natural colours.

Venus - This colour is a shimmery ( satin) white that is perfect for highlighting. (and my favorite at the moment)
Foxy - A matte cream colour that is exstreamly smooth.
W.O.S (Walk Of Shame) - A matte flesh toned light pink shade.
Naked 2 - A matte taupe colour that would be perfect for just creating a shadow or contouring the crease.
Faint - A matte medium brown colour, compliments any shade of gold, light browns and rose gold shadows ( basically any light shade that has warm undertones) Also looks nice when pared with W.O.S.
Crave - A matte black, great for darkening any look and smoking out the eyes.

Overall i think this palette is a must have due to the colours and quality of the shadows. No matter what look you want to create you'll know you have the perfect crease colours and highlights in your collection to create any smokey eye you wish.

Thank you so much for having a read, hope you enjoyed me review.
