* Parklife Festival & OOTD's *

Parklife is a UK music festival that takes place over a weekend in June (7th & 8th) at a well known park in the city of Manchester. This year i decided i wanted to go and also decided to share some pictures and my experience with you guys.
The festival is split into two days where different people, groups, bands and dj's play on a variety of different stages across the park. The festival also offers different experiences such as rides, shops, stalls, food, and bars.
(You do not camp at this festival, the festival closes at 11pm and then you return the next day at 11am)

Saturday

On the Saturday i traveled to the festival with my friend Charlotte and had plans to meet others when we got into the festival. i knew we had a wait before entering the park due to people giving tickets in and getting wrist bands but the wait was ridiculous, we waited for an hour and half before getting in. This was due to the fact that no one really knew what entrance to use to get into the park as no one had told us and we kept getting told to go to different places. everyone also had to be searched for liquids, drugs and weapons before entering the park.

OOTD

The Saturday weather forecast said it was going to storm and rain all day so i wore;
Thick tights (Asda), high waisted denim shorts (Made them from old jeans), White top (boohoo) and a cotton kimono (boohoo). i also wore knee high socks, wellies and took a waterproof pac-a-mac with me.

This was just the main stage line up!

Overall it was such a good day/night, snoop dog was amazing! despite being drenched and covered in mud it was still so much fun.

Sunday

The Sunday was alot warmer, so i decided not wrap up as much as i did the day before.
Outfit:
Playsuit (boohoo) Kimono (H&M) Knee high socks (Primark) Wellies and Sunglasses (Forever 21).
Sunday was my favorite day out of the two, not only because it was so much warmer and sunnier but the line up was better and i got to see allot of people i wouldn't normally buy tickets to see. This day was still muddy so i did have to wear my wellies but it was sunny most of the day apart from abit of rain that lasted about half an hour.

The Sunday main stage line up.

* Maleficent 2014 Inspired Make-Up Look*

Hey guys, As you may already know it isn't long until the Maleficent film is released in the UK cinemas and i have been wanting to recreate the look warm by Angelina Jolie since the first time i saw the poster.

There are many different posters for this film and allot of them have different make up looks due to editing and obviously different make-up, however this is the poster i based my look on. As you may already be able to tell from the picture above i still put my own twist on the look to make it a tiny bit more wearable (regarding contour) and also added in more of the traditional eye colour of Maleficent that is purple!

Here is how i did the eyes:

Going left to right.
1. I first packed a light purple shade all over my eyelid.

2. I then added a dark matte black to the crease and outer corner of my eye, after this i then took a clean blended brush and blended the black eye shadow so there where no harsh lines.

3. After this i placed a shimmery purple shade to the brow bone and added the same light purple shade from the lid onto the lower lash line. i also used liquid eyeliner to line my lash line.

4. Finally i added mascara to both bottom and top lashes, added eyeliner to my waterline and used Ardell lashes.

For lips i applied a red lipstick with a lip brush then applied black liner to the corners of my lips and blended the colours together.

 In regards to contour i tried to make my cheek bones as prominent as i could but this is hard to do  when you have a round face like mine haha! Plus Angelina has prosthetic's in the film to give the illusion of pointed cheekbones. For contour i used a matte grey colour and the Real Techniques contour brush. i also used a white highlighter on my cheekbones.

Thank you for visiting my blog, if you have any question about the products i used just leave me a comment.

* Revlon Colourburst Lip butter review*

ARRRRR.. Revlon Lip Butters!

Revlon has been one of my favorite high street brands for a long time, especially their lipsticks!
When ever i go out to buy a new lipstick i will always check out the Revlon stand first, and most of the time i will find something i like! Out of all the different types of lipsticks that Revlon have to offer the "Lip Butters" are by far my favorite! In this post i'm going to do a quick review on why i love these lipsticks so much!
015 Tutti Frutti - 080 Strawberry Shortcake - 010 Raspberry Pie - 040 Red Velvet.

I love these lipsticks because:
1. They're extremely moisturizing, they feel like a lip barm.
2. They're really pigmented.
3. You can wear them sheer or opaque.
4. They have a wide range of colours to choose from.
5. Unscented and no flavor.
6. Long lasting.
7. They have a glossy finish so no need for lip glosses.

When i come to think about it there's only two aspects that i don't like about these lipsticks.
1. They do bleed if you layer them on, i haven't tried using a lip liner yet but blotting the lipstick after you have applied it reduces the bleeding.
2. If you have dry lips the lighter lipsticks will not look too nice as they seem to cling to dry parts of the lips so make sure you exfoliate before applying.

I absolutely love these lipsticks and will continue to buy more shades!
